Looking forward to returning to New Wine this year as the house act in the late night venue ‘Rendezvous’. I had a great time last year - every night was very different and it got more and more fun as the week went on. This time I’ll be doing Week A for the London crowd so will hope to see a few familiar faces. I’ll also be finishing the week with a full band set on the Friday night with Matt Weeks and Willie Weeks. Yeehah - its going to be a top week!
The brother’s Weeks and I are running away to the country to start work on an album. Its a real treat to have them behind me on this - they are amazing musicians and fantastic blokes. We’re going to have a total blast.
The songs have really come together too and I really feel I’ve got something to say with the album. Its going to be honest, gritty, loud, soft, raw, soulful, spiritual… it will be great to see how it all comes together. I hope it changes whatever part of the world it comes into contact with.
I’ll be trying to give some updates when we get going and show you how its all coming together. Can’t wait!
